Got the 2nd edition. I often wander around without a computer, so I needed a nice easy way to print important bits into little books of information that I could carry around in my pocket. Other books will help but this one is a must have.

Was good, but gets dated fast. I like apple computers and this book is a good way forr learn cocoa apple computer programing language -Colin L. The book, itself, is excellent — but this version is almost unusable because the example code does not programmijg properly and has missing text in iBooks.

Chad Adams figured out a brilliant technique of cutting and folding pieces of paper into little books and called it PocketMod. I’d also recommend completing the challenges in the book. This book teaches you how to read Objective-C, not how to write it. These are really the prerequisites to picking up this book. This book would be great for a beginner in Objective-C and Cocoa, but it won’t take you very far.
